Job summary.

We are looking for a SysAdmin to ensure the operational continuity and optimal performance of the company’s technological infrastructure. This involves administering, maintaining, and continuously improving servers, internal networks, and different environments. The ideal candidate will have an architectural profile with a broad understanding of Windows, Linux, VMware, and public cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS). They should be a versatile team player with a DevOps and cloud-focused mindset, capable of designing solutions, updating systems, and working with microservices. This role is not a technical support profile; rather, it requires someone with strong leadership, a proactive attitude, and the ability to respectfully challenge ideas.

Basic qualifications.

  • Technician or advanced student in Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

  • Previous experience in Linux and Windows server administration.

  • Good handling of technical documentation and log analysis.

  • Knowledge of networks (Cisco, TCP/IP, VLANs).

  • Knowledge in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage.

  • Experience with monitoring and automation tools (Zabbix, Ansible, etc.)

  • Problem-solving complex issues.

  • Adaptability to constant technological changes.

  • Logical and methodical thinking.

  • Good time and priority management.

  • Collaborative work capacity.

  • Proactivity and autonomy.

  • Knowledge of public cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS).

  • Experience with microservices.

  • Familiarity and experience with agile methodologies.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to design solutions.

Responsibilities and functions.

  • Administer and monitor Windows and Linux servers.

  • Ensure the availability, security, and performance of critical systems.

  • Control patches and security updates.

  • Analyze logs and resolve complex incidents.

  • Coordinate with providers for specific technical tasks.

  • Execute maintenance, installation, and configuration tasks for services.

  • Document procedures, incidents, and infrastructure changes.

  • Implement new technological solutions and participate in improvement projects.

  • Promote improvements in the existing architecture with a focus on scalability and efficiency.

  • Identify and prevent vulnerabilities in systems.

  • Actively collaborate in transversal technological projects.

  • Work with DevOps practices and cloud environments.

  • Update systems and maintain architecture.
